Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 2026-06-17 · How to delete your PostCrew account and associated data.
1. Overview
PostCrew, operated by Group Taiga, respects your right to control your data. You can request deletion of your PostCrew account and all associated data at any time, free of charge.
This page describes the deletion process for compliance with Meta Platform Terms (Instagram & Facebook), GDPR (EU), KVKK (Türkiye), CCPA (California), and similar regulations.
2. What gets deleted
When you submit a deletion request, the following is removed:
- Your user account and authentication identifiers;
- All brand profiles and brand DNA records you created;
- Uploaded brand assets (logos, sample images, reference materials);
- Content templates, slots, asset pools, generated captions and images;
- All connected social media OAuth tokens (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) — revoked immediately and erased from our database;
- Publishing history and schedule records;
- Server logs containing your identifiers (within 90 days).
Note: Content already published to your social media accounts is not deleted from those platforms — you must delete published posts directly from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, or TikTok as applicable.
3. How to request deletion
Option A — Email (recommended)
Send an email with the following information:
- To: developer@grouptaiga.com
- Subject:
PostCrew Data Deletion Request - Body: Include your registered email address, organization name, and the Facebook / Instagram username (if you connected one) to verify identity.
Option B — In-app self-service (when authenticated)
If you have access to the dashboard, navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm the deletion. (This option is available when authentication is enabled; for early access users, please use Option A.)
Option C — Meta App Settings (for social account users)
If you only want to revoke PostCrew's access to your Facebook or Instagram account without deleting your PostCrew data, visit facebook.com/settings → Business Integrations and remove PostCrew. We will detect the revocation on the next publish attempt and erase the stored OAuth token within 24 hours.
4. Timeline
- Acknowledgement: within 3 business days of receiving your request;
- OAuth tokens revoked: within 24 hours;
- Account & brand data deleted: within 30 calendar days;
- Backup purging: backups are rotated within 30 days; residual copies are overwritten in our weekly rotation cycle.
You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
5. What we may retain (and why)
We may retain limited information beyond the deletion timeline only when required by law:
- Billing records — retained for 10 years (Turkish tax law / VKN);
- Anti-abuse logs — hashed identifiers retained for 12 months to prevent re-creation of banned accounts;
- Court orders — data subject to legal hold is preserved until the hold is released.
These retained records are not used for any other purpose and are access-restricted.
6. Children's data
PostCrew does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, email us immediately using the address above and we will expedite deletion.
7. Verification
To prevent unauthorized deletion of someone else's data, we may ask you to confirm your identity by:
- Replying from the email address associated with the account;
- Confirming a unique account identifier sent to that email;
- Providing the connected Instagram/Facebook username for OAuth account-only requests.
